My name is Beth Maguire and I offer a range of ceremonies, celebratory and memorial, across York, Yorkshire and the Humber and the North of England, as an accredited independent celebrant with The United Kingdom Society of Celebrants.

I have always loved people’s stories, listening to the memories they have of each other, their families and friends, and capturing the essence of their personalities is my speciality. Each ceremony I design is created with the couple, family and friends, designed to be unique and custom-made.

For weddings and other celebratory events, I love to get involved at an early stage, join the excitement as you build your vision and support you with planning, I love to see your Pintrest boards and discuss the different elements and possibilities which make your event unique.

From entrances, to colour schemes, professional master of ceremonies and vows, stories of how you met, the proposal and the lives you want to build, I can incorporate any number of bespoke details to make the day your own.

For life events and milestones, such as naming ceremonies for babies and adopted children, the blending of couples with children becoming one family, retirements and graduations, there is no end to the possibilities for celebrating your stories.

For funerals I am here to support you and share the story of those you have lost, celebrating their lifetime achievements and the things they were proud of, their humour and their authentic selves, creating a bespoke ceremony which you can look back on and feel at ease and safe in the knowledge you have shared the life and legacy of your loved one with their families and friends.
